Speaking of the bays, wave-surfers, skim-boarders, advanced sailing, kitesurfing and windsurfing enthusiasts will find this bay a treat during the November-February monsoon especially, as this is when 20 knot nor'easterlies blow virtually non-stop, at times whipping the sea into a 3 meter swell.
The rest of the year, the fresh SE/SW winds are somewhat tempered by the local terrain, creating calm and steady conditions, ideal for more recreational activities like sailing, SUP-ing, kayaking, scubadiving, snorkeling, freediving and bluewater angling.
